I live in Quebec City. I live where the winter is perfect, and the summer is much anticipated»
Maybe some of you already know me, but for those of you who are new, here's a little bit about myself
I dabbled in a wide variety of interests in both my academic and work careers, but I finally found my true passions: creating art and building meaningful human relationships.
I share my life and my passions with my wonderful husband and my three beautiful children, all with endearing and unique personalities. I don't enjoy routine and I think it shows in my art. I use acrylic, a LOT of it. I like to translate emotions into movements and textures. Music is in all of my paintings. It's always part of my creating process. When I am not in my studio, I'm out and about, meeting people. I like to watch people as I find human behavior to be fascinating! I have dreams, a lot of them! I try to make most of them come true, but the unknown is what makes life truly exciting. Oh! And coffee, need it because I love it.
Having been influenced by the artwork of other artists, be it icons or inconsequential people, from past or contemporary, it appears important to me to question ourselves. “What do we want to bequeath today?”
For me, my art reflects the social and political culture in a globalized world by integrating two opposing sides: The structured and the non-structured. I feel that my artwork expresses how one part of the world should not impose its way of living. We need both sides; different sides.
Humanity will lose its beauty the day everything will be integrated, without diversity. My contribution in the evolution of contemporary art is to express to the viewers the beauty that lies within the unification of diversity. Thus creating the final result of my artwork which brings the structured and non-structured sides together.
